Cauvery Maadha Aarathi

Aarathi is the way Hindus worship their God in the morning and evening in their daily lives and is also shown as the end of each festival. At Rishikesh in northern India, Aarathi is done by various priests with lamps and singing Bhajans as a way of worshiping the sacred river Ganges that rises from the Himalayas. This Aarathi delights the heart and creates a harmony with the soul. During this ritual fire, water, earth and air all together realize that we have attained perfection in our soul. To continue this, through our foundation we are doing Aarathi everyday to Mother Cauvery, who is born on the Kudaku hill.  This event which starts after sunset and about 45 minutes, held at the place on the steps of Dharmakirupai Nandavanam.
